For the last two months it’s been nestling in the pig shed at Spirit of the Seventies. I’d got to the point where I’d done a few bits and bobs to it but lacked the nerve and the skill to have a go at the wiring loom and to cut the subframe up myself. I’d been buying up speedos, bars, switches and realised that without the space in London I was never going to do this myself so off I popped to Spirit had a quick natter with Tim over a brew and a plan was hatched.</p> <p>I hear it’s going well and I’ve seen a pic of the Koso D64 in place next to the easton bars but that’s all. There are so many lovely bits on this bike that make you go ooooh. Sometimes it’s the smallest things that grab you and on this one it’s the mirror positioning that’s really floating my boat. Don’t get me wrong, the rest of the bike is really something to behold but I’m a sucker for nice touches.
